Visitors & Tourists
Passing through the Adirondacks?
If you're a Jewish traveler in the Star Lake area looking for a minyan, kosher food, or just somewhere to daven — reach out. We'd love to help.
What we can offer.
- A minyan during the summer program (early July through mid-August), and often a small minyan year-round — call ahead to check.
- Kosher food on-site during the summer, and we can usually point you to resources or help in a pinch off-season.
- A Shabbos seat & meal — let us know in advance and we'll do our best to host.
- Local guidance — what's around, where the trails are, what towns have what.
When to reach out.
The campus is most active during summer (roughly the beginning of July through mid-August). Off-season we're quieter — please call or email ahead so we can be ready for you.

One stop on a long road.
Star Lake sits between the High Peaks, the Thousand Islands, and the Canadian border. If your route takes you through, we'd be glad to be a stop along the way.
